1. Bachelor's degree of Mechanical Engineering
2. Experience as Workshop Manager at Oil Palm Plantation Company
3. Should be a team player
4. Should have enough knowledge of technical troubleshooting
5. Willing to be based in a site area In West Kalimantan (Sandai)
    

Job Description:

1. Identify the future requirement of the assigned PT for mechanical engineering solutions, and conceptualize and develop mechanical engineering solutions, by carrying out adequate preplanning by establishing the different kinds of work to be carried out in the short term and the medium to long term.
2. Review and ensure efficient layout and structure of the workshop, to ensure an efficient flow of operations by analyzing the frequency of activities carried out, and time taken for individual activities.
3. Develop key performance targets and parameters for the workshop, and benchmark with other general mechanical workshops in the industry.
4. Review and establish detailed procedures and processes/flow charts for carrying out each main activity within the workshop.
5. Develop documents, systems and controls to be introduced to monitor the work carried out, and suggest the monitoring mechanism and activities.
6. Look for ways to improve the operating level/road worthiness of the transport vehicles by improving maintenance practices to be followed at the workshop and by the drivers, the kinds of spares to be used and the frequencies and the best practices of maintenance.
7. Carry out technical analysis on vehicles/equipment to be used, carry out fabrications internally by reviewing the effectiveness of the equipment used, and develop means of improving performance.
8. Draw up budgets for the workshop, and mechanical engineering division by getting the resources required.
